On the corner of 10th Street & Avenue A, we are an active parish located in the East Village neighborhood of New York City. Started by devout Carpatho-Rusyn Christians who trace their roots back to the Carpathian Mountain region of eastern Europe, our parish is now comprised of members from many backgrounds and branches of the â€‹Orthodox Faith, serving together in the Body of Christ, the Orthodox Church. Our services beautifully blend both English and Church Slavonic as we celebrate the teachings of the Holy Scripture and the Sacred Teachings and Traditions of the Orthodox Christian Faith.

We invite you to come learn more about Our Faith, Our Community and Our Church.

What is the Orthodox Church?

“The Orthodox Christian Church is evangelical, but not Protestant.
It is orthodox, but not Jewish. It is catholic, but not Roman.
It is not denominational, it is pre-denominational.
It has believed, taught, preserved, defended, and died for the
Faith of the Apostles since the Day of Pentecost nearly 2,000 years ago.”
