If you pour yourself out for the hungry and satisfy the desire of the afflicted,
then shall your light rise in the darkness and your gloom be as the noonday.

Food Drive Effort At St. Nicholas Is Year-Round
Hunger doesn't stop when the Christmas holidays end. In fact, more than 4.5 million children in the United States alone benefited from food pantry services throughout the year. Church food drives, like ours, help make sure those children and their families can get emergency food assistance when they need it. Once grocery bag of food can provide as many as 11 meals.
We are knocking on your door. As you are buying food for your family, please consider buying “just one more” can, box, or bag for the St. Nicholas food drive. Every single donation helps, and together we hope to do our part to make a difference for those in need. Here are some suggestions of non-perishable items:
Canned fruits & vegetables Fruit juices in cans or plastic containers
Peanut butter and jelly in plastic containers Dried goods: beans, rice, pasta,
Mac 'n' cheese, canned soups and pasta sauces Healthy snacks like nuts, granola bars
Applesauce, fruits in plastic containers Condiments like ketchup, mustard
Canned meats –tuna, chicken, turkey Multigrain and low-sugar cereals
A large container is located in #2 hall for all donations. Once the container is full, we will bring it to a tri-state food pantry in need.
